About Me
I currently work in D.C. as NBC Washington's nightside assignment editor, where I gather story elements, set up interviews and manage breaking news daily. When I am not on the desk, I am out in the field shadowing and helping our reporters with their assignments. I constantly strive to tell breaking news quickly and accurately, as well as going in-depth with my research and production for long-form packages. I graduated in May 2023 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, however, I have been working full time in the industry at WRC since June of 2022. Although I have loved my time in the District, I'm excited to start my next chapter pursuing my passion of creatively telling stories as an MMJ Reporter!

Broadcast Journalism
University of Maryland
I am very proud to call myself a #MerrillMade Terp from the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism. Through very vigorous coursework, hands on experience with camera equipment and realistic dayside quick-turn deadlines, I felt more than prepared when starting my first job in a top 10 news market. My major in broadcast journalism and minor in Spanish have and will continue to grant me a foundation for success in the journalism industry.
